Senior Lawyer—Funds Management (Melbourne or Brisbane)
We have an excellent opportunity available for an experienced lawyer to join our award winning funds management team. Ideally this position will be based in our Melbourne office although it could also be accommodated in our Brisbane office if the successful candidate has their home base in Brisbane. This role is responsible for working with complex funds management matters and is ideal for someone seeking to apply their technical skills and provide a high standard of service to clients while also supervising and mentoring more junior lawyers.
The successful candidate will ideally have a minimum of five years experience working specifically in funds management. They will have the ability to understand the goals of our clients and work with them to achieve the best possible outcome while also making a positive contribution to our collaborative workplace. We often work together in teams across different practice areas and we are highly focused on creating a culture of collaboration, focus and integrity.
All team members at McMahon Clarke are encouraged to work in a way that is supportive of their lives away from the office. For example, this could mean different start and finish times or working from home. Although this is a full time role, if you are willing to stay connected to us, then we encourage flexibility in the way you choose to work. This role however will require you to be in the office for the majority of your week in order to provide mentoring and training.
The team in Melbourne works closely with the other specialised practitioners in our Brisbane office and most large transactions have lawyers from both Melbourne and Brisbane working on the same matter. We are nationally recognised as advisors to responsible entities and promoters of managed funds throughout Australia as well as investment managers, platform operators, brokers, advisors and other stakeholders in the financial services sector.
To apply for this role, please send your resume to our human resources manager, Liz Davies at email@example.com.
